Dr. Yuguo Chen, Director

Director Yuguo Chen is Professor of Statistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Fellow of the American Statistical Association. He is also affiliated with Department of Computer Science, Information Trust Institute, Computational Science and Engineering, and Illinois Informatics Institute. His areas of research expertise include Monte Carlo methods and their applications to scientific problems, network data analysis, state space models and dynamic systems, bioinformatics and population genetics. He has published extensively in the areas of statistical methods, Monte Carlo computation and simulation, data mining, biomedical science, genetics, agriculture, civil engineering, image processing, social science, network science, and psychometrics.
